Mulder and Scully are called back to duty by the FBI when a former priest claims to be receiving psychic visions pertaining to a kidnapped agent. With David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly. In Redux II, that was a sad episode, I really felt for both Mulder & Scully, the scene where Mulder cries next to Scully at her bedside was really sad to me. The X Files: I Want to Believe: Directed by Chris Carter. I'm probably in the minority but I honestly enjoyed Doggett & Reyes just as much as I did Mulder & Scully, I was constantly worried for them anything danger was looming around the corner. Season 1 1993-1994 1X79: Pilot Twin Peaks (Mark Frost, David Lynch, 1990-1991) The influence of Twin Peaks on the X-Files is both general and specific. I also loved the 4-D episode, I was really worried that Doggett was gonna die for sure & I felt so bad for Reyes in that one too. Another one was in Release when Doggett found out who killed his son & when he and his wife were sprinkling his son's ashes on the beach, that's one of my favorite scenes from the show period & a very sad scene, top notch acting from Patrick. One for me was in This Is Not Happening, I felt so damn bad for Scully in that one.

There are so many that had me sad & while I never shed a tear, they were still really sad scenes that made me feel for the characters.
